Wall Lake

Wall lake BC

10.4km round trip

110m/361ft elevation

Wall lake is one of my kids favorite hikes. We think of this hike as child friendly and fun but the first stretch is deceiving and we are always surprised that there is such an slow but constant incline. This stops at the Alberta/B.C boarder and then it is a gradual decline is mostly to the lake. Once into BC you will find a campsite that sits quietly. We always see bikes out on the trail, and families. The trail runs through forest area and is covered most of the way. Once you reach Wall Lake people stop to take in the creek, and sit around the lake. If you continue all the way around the lake till almost the Akamina Ridge trail head you will find an outhouse.
