I was aching for the mountains and my very intuitive boy could tell. He wanted to try snowshoeing, something Vince and I have purposely been keeping as our adult thing to do but I felt that if he wanted to we should go.
Things boy learned:
1. Stay off the cross country ski paths. This is important since we share our routes with skiers and want to be considerate.
2. If you take off your snowshoes you will immediately sink deep into the soft snow.
3. It’s harder then it looks, but it’s worth it!
4. Backing up with snowshoes is not easy and may cause you to tumble over backwards.
5. Snowshoeing is a BLAST!
